  • Summer Camp

    Summer Camp at EduCare is based on having fun outside as much as possible while still keeping our educational foundation.  This means that we are still academically focused; but at a little more relaxed tempo so that we may enjoy all summer has to offer. 

    All age groups at our location participate in our summer camp program.  Camp runs from 6/6/2022-8/12/2022.   

    Each week has a fun theme that the teachers base their learning activities on.  At EduCare the teachers not only have planned activities for inside the classroom, but we highly encourage our teachers to take learning outside as well.  STEAM activities (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) are incorporated in daily pre-planned classroom activities

     

    • Days:
      2 days (Tues/Thur)
      3 days (Mon/Wed/Fri)
      5 days (Mon - Fri)
    • Times:
      9:15am-2:45pm
    • Make it Monday

      Children will participate in making a fun art project. Children will also participate in a “cooking” activity where they make their own afternoon snack

    • STEM Tuesday

      In the morning and in the afternoon during outside time the children will participate in pre-planned STEM activities that are age-appropriate. Don’t forget STEAM is incorporated daily as well in the classrooms.

    • Outdoor Wednesday

      This day is all about being outside. The children spend the entire morning outside rotating through the following areas of play:
      – Mud Kitchen
      – Water Play
      – Field Activities (2 pre-planned activities per week)

    • Game Day Thursday

      Remember those games you used to play when you were little like red light/green light or maybe Mother May I?
      We are bringing back the “old school” games every Thursday for the children to play outside.

    • Fitness Friday

      We have pre-planned weekly activities scheduled for outside morning times that are focused on fitness. We have a camp teacher that will be leading these activities during the summer every Friday for 30 minutes per age group

About Us
EduCare provides several programs to meet the changing needs of our families. We offer Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, Summer Camp and School-Age programs. All programs offered are full or part-time.
